Created as an oasis of edible greenery and driven by a concept of sustainability, comfort and individual care, Almatere welcomes you with eight individually designed rooms. The use of recycled items and materials is part of the concept here.
A varied vegetarian buffet is each morning freshly prepared in the open space kitchen and served with care and attention to individual needs in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The Rooms

At Almatere Stay eight rooms of varying sizes, with a terrace or a balcony, are at your disposal on three different floors. Each room comes with a curated and individual interior design, featuring reused and recycled items and materials.
The terraces and balconies are home to edible trees and medicinal plants. They are inviting you to connect and interact with nature, or just to relax, enjoying their nearness and the sun. The possibility of making your own fresh herbal infusion is a peculiarity here, aiming to put you in contact with the rich and wonderful world of herbs and medicinal plants.
With this blend of sustainability, elegance, comfort and closeness to nature, we strive to provide you with a unique and inspiring stay.

The Decoration

Walls lined with panels woven from river cane, shutters made from palm leaves, carpets made from organic Portuguese wool, and re purposed and upcycled urban objects are just some of the elements that lend a unique charm to this place surrounded by vegetation.
